Welcome back to the world of chills and thrills, sex and scares! The makers of RAGINI MMS [2011] are all set to unleash the second installment in its franchise -- RAGINI MMS-2. A number of movies -- with a heady cocktail of sex and horror -- have made it to cineplexes in the intervening period, thus raising the bar for similar-genre movies. However, RAGINI MMS-2 is being peddled as 'Horrex' -- a combo of horror and sex. Naturally, it's imperative that the second chapter outdoes the first part in terms of plot, characters, skin show and most importantly, cold shiversVisit Bollywood Hungama Site for more

As regards the performances, Sunny puts in a much improved effort; Sandhya Mridul is impressive as usual while Dutta passes muster. Karan Mehra, who plays the television star, is delectable. To sum up Ragini MMS 2 is a better attempt than its prequel and is worth a dekkoVisit Rediff Site for more

Where it falters is in the lack of novelty in the scenes that feature the spirit, and its bloody trail: there are a couple of scenes that send a shiver down your spine, but then it all becomes familiar. A little more attention to that, and to the storyline, and this will become a solid franchise.Visit Indian Express site for more

Sunny looks deathly desirable and plays the sexed-up baby doll with abandon. While her 'act' is good, her 'performance' doesn't really climax. Yet, she gives us a 'drool-worthy' adult-horror film - one of its kind for Bollywood. Parvin and Karan are entertaining, Saahil is average, Divya (as a psychiatrist) stays trapped in an unconvincing role. For horror-buffs this might not be 'spookilicious' enough, but those looking for a 'sun-sunny' weekend, go lap it up!Visit Times Of India for more

Karan Mehra (better known as Naren of Pavitra Rishta) and Sandhya Mridul succeed in providing the desperately needed comic relief as two overenthusiastic, OTT actors in the film's crew. Even Dabas enjoys hamming as the director, but his is a more limited part. Sunny Leone isn't pushed out of her comfort zone and is more than content playing the stereotype. Our suggestion: watch the first half of Ragini MMS or get hold of The Conjuring. These films accomplish in doing what Ragini MMS 2 fails toVisit India Today for more

Ragini MMS 2 is far more lucid than Ragini MMS. Though the first half isn’t exactly remarkable, the build up to the second half, the well used titillating show and the tight eldritch climax is what makes the film a worthwhile film here. Do not expect anything beyond mindless entertainment because this film is just the horror variation of a commercial potboiler. Don’t attach logic, don’t expect intelligence, just get entertained. Since I have ingested my share of it
